The Marauders return for the 08 season with a mix of returning veterans, familiar faces wearing new uniforms and some new players to BVB. After a disappointing exit in the playoffs last year team GM Terry Wilkinson looked to add pitching and middle infield help. Gary DeSouza and Carmen Gassi will help with the defense along with a full season from Justin Hostick. They can also pitch and with the addition of Larry Grant we now have 12 guys who can hit the hill. One last new signing was Jim Harrow who brings a big bat and can play a number of positions in the field. One final new addition is Steve Carter who provides us with another option behind the plate.

The core of the team that dates back to 1993 as the LA Eatery Dodgers in the old Hardboys days remain in tact. Claude Babin, Charlie Neilson and Steve Slann are back for another year. The St. Catherine’s contingent of Eric Sutherland, Steve Blanchet, Tim Rowdon, Frank Iker and Gord Harris all return for another year with BVB. Bryan Rothery will be back to help us with his slick fielding and big bat.

The Marauders kick off their 2008 season when they take on the Cubs on Friday May 9th with the game to be played at 8:30pm at Millcroft Park.
